The first year the Dodgers organization came to OKC, I started working with them as a fresh faced photographer who hadn’t seen much outside of a small university setting. The pace was fast, the crowds were rowdy and it was hot. The ballpark concourse smells were amazing and I was starry eyed from all the new found glory of getting to shoot with a larger organization. After my first game I left feeling completely demoralized because I didn’t think I was good enough, because the speed of the game and managing everything involved was very fast and not at all what I was used too. Short story and the moral of it all is just keep working, keep showing up, listen to others and eventually you’ll get there.
